Responsibilities
Prepare and consolidate monthly financial statements (ASPE) and manage month-end close.
- Oversee general accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, analyses, and P&L variance review.
- Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and external audits.
- Lead and support the accounting team (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and analyst – approx. 4 people).
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial and operational needs.
Qualifications
- CPA designation or CPA candidate (asset).
- 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing SMB.
- Experience or interest in team management and coaching.
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, organized, and rigorous.
- Ability to quickly adopt new technologies and improve processes.
- Strong communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
