Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for manufacturing divisions, including balance sheets, income statements, and bank reconciliations.
Track production, inventory, and labor costs, identifying variances from forecasts and proposing solutions to optimize costs.
Prepare financial reports for management, explaining trends, cost variances, and budget projections.
Assist the controller in developing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and necessary adjustments based on market changes and costs.
Propose recommendations to improve financial processes, cost control, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
CPA title or in the process of obtaining it (Bachelor's in accounting accepted if > 5 years of experience).
2 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP systems (an asset).
Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with production, management, and other stakeholders.
Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
