As an Associate IT Support Specialist, you'll play an essential role in providing daily IT support to our Client's end users. You'll assist with the setup, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment and software, ensuring operations run smoothly. Responsibilities
Provide daily IT support by managing and resolving Help Desk tickets promptly and effectively.
Assist with the setup, installation, and routine maintenance of IT equipment and software, including PCs, peripherals, and A/V equipment.
Troubleshoot end-user issues related to hardware, operating systems (primarily Windows), and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems, Adobe, Cybersecurity suites).
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting for printers and label printers.
Collaborate on team projects, including the migration to a new help desk ticketing system (Freshservice) and the adoption of Microsoft Intune for PC enrollment and asset management.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members as needed.
Occasionally unbox, configure, and install physical IT equipment, including servers, switches, uninterruptable power supplies, wireless access points, and cabling in server and IDF cabinets/racks.
Qualifications
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic issues with computers, peripherals, operating systems, and software applications.
Foundational understanding of networking fundamentals.
Logical approach to assessing technical issues, identifying root causes, and offering solutions.
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT team members and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic experience with PC hardware (e.g., keyboard, mouse, microphone, A/V equipment).
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with Help Desk systems is a plus.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
1-2 years of relevant experience in IT support or similar roles.
Foundational understanding of IT applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems, Adobe, Cybersecurity suites).
