Responsibilities
As an Audit Manager, Professional Practices, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of activities, from strategic planning to the hands-on execution of wealth management solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
-Subject Matter Expertise: Acting as a go-to expert on initiatives related to day-to-day operational processes.
-Operational Excellence: Driving seamless and efficient operations within the wealth business through best-in-class process design and implementation.
-Stakeholder Liaison: Cultivating and maintaining robust working relationships with both internal stakeholders (advisors, compliance, product teams, management) and external partners (carrying brokers, third-party vendors, manufacturers).
-Ongoing Support: Providing crucial support for various projects aimed at establishing and enhancing the dealer platform.
-Processing: Managing securities dealer processes and daily requirements, including transaction processing, reconciliations, fee management, account management, and other operational tasks.
-Special Projects: Taking on additional special projects as requested, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
-Experience: 2-5 years of experience within the investment industry.
-Education: A university degree.
-Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the investment management industry and its products and services within the financial services market.
-Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities.
-Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel and other essential technical skills.
-Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail.
-Time Management: Excellent time management skills.
-Communication: Strong writing and communication skills.
-Problem-Solving: A proven aptitude for problem-solving.
-Teamwork: Demonstrated initiative and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
