As a Batcher in the manufacturing and logistics sector, you will play a critical role in the production cycle. This is a permanent position designed for someone who enjoys physical work and precision.
In this role you will be responsible for the physical preparation and mixing of materials. Please note that this Batcher position requires consistent heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds. For this role, previous internal forklift experience is highly valued and accepted.

Responsibilities
• set up, change over of tools
• run quality test and first offs
• operation of Mixing equipment
• ensure that each mixture is the right consistency and colour
• use a forklift to move around vats
• perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift
• maintain a clean and safe manufacturing and logistics workspace
• follow strict recipes and technical specifications for batching
• document production logs and material usage accurately
• collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets
Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a heavy general labour or machine operator position
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and perform physical labor
• Previous Forklift experience or a strong willingness to be trained
• Reliable transportation to the north end of Guelph
• Proven track record of reliability and punctuality in a manufacturing and logistics environment
• Ability to work independently and take initiative on the production floor
