Responsibilities
• Accurately prepare, weigh, and mix raw materials (including resins and pigments) according to specific mix sheets and batch guidelines.
• Identify and verify source identification numbers and product descriptions to guarantee precise material selection and batch accuracy.
• Perform thorough cleanings of containers, general mixing areas, industrial mixers, and filling stations between production runs.
• Operate material handling equipment, including tow motors, lift trucks, and automated scales, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain general housekeeping and organization across the weigh station and mixing floor at all times.
• Safely handle and dispose of excess cabin powder and chemical waste following company environmental and safety protocols.
• Liaise directly with the material controller to report material usage and ensure an uninterrupted flow of raw inventory.
• Organize and replenish raw material inventory in the weigh station and assist with storing newly received shipments in the warehouse.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent credential.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, batching, or industrial chemical mixing environment.
• Valid license or demonstrated experience operating a lift truck / tow motor.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and handle production materials safely throughout the shift.
• High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and focus on workplace safety standards.
