Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial mixing, blending, and chemical compounding machinery to produce batch specifications.
- Quality & Recipe Precision: Precisely weigh, measure, and load raw materials according to strict formulation sheets; monitor batch density, color, and viscosity.
- Material Handling: Drive forklifts to move heavy staging pallets, raw chemical drums, and bulk mixing vats throughout the mixing bay.
- Sanitation & Maintenance: Clean, wash, and purge mixing tanks, lines, and staging tools between cycles to guarantee zero product contamination.
- Documentation: Log precise batch records, lot codes, raw ingredient usage, and standard operational logs into the tracking system.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to site safety guidelines, handling protocols, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years in a manufacturing, chemical processing, or heavy construction setting.
- Physical Capability: Ability to comfortably perform consistent heavy manual lifting (up to 50 lbs throughout the shift).
- Work Environment Comfort: Ability to work in a industrial mixing bay (note: while climate-controlled, raw chemical compounding creates an inherently dusty environment).
- Skills & Aptitude: Strong basic math and literacy skills to accurately read recipes, measurements, and safety data sheets.
- Forklift Experience: Valid certification or proven material handling skills preferred (training available).
- Attributes: Excellent attendance, high attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.
