Responsibilities
-Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding and compliance with company policies
-Prepare payments through EFT, cheques, or other approved methods
-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
-Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documents
-Communicate with vendors in both English and French to address inquiries and resolve payment issues
-Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and basic reporting
-Support timely and accurate payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company deadlines
Qualifications
-2+ years of experience in accounting
-Experience in administrative position
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for English and French
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Comfortable working fully onsite
