Responsibilities
🔹 What You’ll Do
Manage a portfolio of delinquent commercial and auto finance accounts
Negotiate repayment agreements and settlements with clients
Coordinate with legal teams, trustees, collection agencies, and repossession units
Assist in recovering losses after asset liquidation or insurance claims
Track, follow up, and document all collection activities accurately
Conduct skip tracing to locate hard-to-reach clients
Support internal referrals and prepare credit documentation for escalated accounts
Ensure compliance with leasing laws and internal policies
Qualifications
1–5 years of experience in a collections
Comfortable communicating in both English and French
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Good problem-solving and negotiation abilities
Proficient with commonly used office software
Additional language skills or knowledge of legal/financial frameworks considered an asset
