Responsibilities
•Verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
•Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
•Verify expense reports to ensure compliance with the company Travel Policy.
•Communicate effectively with Buyers and Quality teams to drive timely resolution of invoice processing delays regarding inventory receipts, PO issues, and vendor disputes.
•Manage, communicate, and resolve all queries in a timely manner.
•Participate actively in clearing open items, advanced payments GL accounts, GR/IR, and other accounts during month-end close.
•Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations for specified key suppliers and additional accounts as needed.
•Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations on Accounts Payable related accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity.
•Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
•Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
•Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
•Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
•Assist other departments in organizing requests across diverse business units for customers and regulators.
•Monitor and collect past-due intercompany accounts receivable.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with large complex and technical businesses an asset
Strong Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word
ERP experience – SAP preferred
1 to 2 years of relevant experience
DEC in Accounting, Economics, Administration or Finance or related field
Must be fluent in communicate with French/ English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
Clearance requirement Reliability , CGP and Trade are required
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication and inter-personal skills
