Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Bilingual Onboarding specialist includes (but are not limited to):
-Document Processing: Prepare and process comprehensive client documentation, including account applications and asset transfer requests.
-Compliance & Coordination: Coordinate onboarding and account opening processes, ensuring data accuracy and strict compliance with regulatory frameworks.
-Verification: Diligently collect, review, and verify all essential client documentation.
-Proactive Monitoring: Monitor onboarding progress and proactively follow up with clients and advisors to clear pending items or resolve issues.
-Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Wealth Advisor to satisfy client needs and requests in a timely manner.
- National Collaboration: Communicate regularly with English-speaking clients outside of Quebec to support the national network.
Qualifications
-Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of professional work experience within the financial services sector (wealth management, brokerage, or banking).
-Languages: Strict bilingualism in both English and French (verbal and written) is mandatory to support clients across Canada.
-Education: University degree in business, commerce, finance, or equivalent professional experience.
-Certifications: Successful completion of the Canadian Investment Funds Course (IFIC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required.
-Key Expertise: * Highly detail-oriented with superior organizational and prioritization skills.
-Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills.
-A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving workspace.
Summary
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable measures to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, demanding it only when necessary and when its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfill those duties.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). Specifically, this position will require the employee to communicate with English-speaking partners located outside of Quebec on a regular basis.
