Position Title: Operations Officer I – Bilingual (French/English)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 4 days in-office at 77 Bloor Street West)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $27.57

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary operational point of contact by handling external customer inquiries over the phone, capturing intake details, and routing requests to the processing team.
Execute general to specialized processing activities accurately and on time, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and established guidelines.
Track, follow up on, and provide status updates on pending transactions and customer requests.
Validate information, perform adjustments within assigned authority levels, and escalate non-standard or high-risk issues to appropriate partners.
Participate in daily 20–30 minute team huddles to align on targets, workload distribution, and process updates.
Handle sensitive customer data securely while adhering to internal compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and regulatory standards.
Identify opportunities to improve daily service delivery and streamline workflow processes.
Qualifications
Language: Full fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required.
Education: Postgraduate degree required.
Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in operations, customer service, or back-office administration (experience in banking/financial services or trade processing is a strong asset).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel; ability to adapt quickly to new software platforms.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong telephone customer service capabilities.
Core Abilities: High attention to detail, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to handle high work volumes to meet strict deadlines.
Assets: Prior familiarity with Money Market (MM), Foreign Exchange (FX) products, or transfer knowledge.
