Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1.Manages customer and/or project-specific awareness campaigns, which involves developing and implementing communication plan that looks to promote the energy efficiency program and its achievements. Includes developing initiative proposals with eco-team members and community stakeholders for the approval of the customer team.
2.Run consistent meetings and cadences with teams made of customer and company representatives.
3.Collaborates with our customer and leads awareness ideation sessions to identify project deliverables, customer expectations, and gain consensus on outcomes.
4.Interprets, converts written text (often technical content and recreates it into impactful visuals and infographics that tell a story to educate and teach customers and stakeholders.
5.Maintains project’s awareness and training budgets and vendors, while simultaneously working with the project manager to ensure alignment with the overall project’s budget.
6.Interviews subject matter experts and other resources to develop and write compelling, cohesive, concise, creative, and original content for the awareness program, including handouts, presentations, and other collateral.
7.Creates and/or manages customer marketing collateral (including a website, social media, and other marketing) specific to the awareness program.
8.Researches and obtains customer-specific information (e.g., through customer websites, publications, annual reports, etc.) to customize the materials to reflect those messages or ideas key to the customer.
9.Conducts a training needs analysis to help create a customized plan that best relates to the client’s needs and selects the most appropriate training method to achieve training goals.
10.Develops, conducts, and improves customer’s energy efficiency training program and/or develops training in conjunction with training vendors, if necessary.
11.Organize evaluation/feedback of training achieved throughout the duration of the project.
12.Provides concepts, graphic design, illustrations, animation, interactive designs, and/or videos to aid in the visualization of data portrayed in training programs, websites, presentations and related materials for customers and their stakeholders (if budget allows, may outsource some of these tasks).
13.Maintains records of documents, presentations, and related materials for the customer programs.
14.Updates content of the sustainability awareness and training service offering descriptions and materials for proposal boilerplate, case studies, graphics, etc.
15.Stays informed on sustainability trends and keeps educated on evolutions in field.
16.Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Journalism, English, and/or Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2.Native level fluent ability to speak and write in French and English
3.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and accurate use and knowledge of the French (preferred) and English (a must) languages.
4.Minimum of six+ years of experience in writing sales and/or marketing collateral, in a corporate team, communications/graphics department or ad agency setting.
5.Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, and successfully manage a complex and ever-changing workload.
6.Strong graphic design portfolio. Web design experience and/or knowledge of web design a plus.
7.Expert knowledge of the MS Office (PowerPoint and Word) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat).
8.Ability to interpret and convert written text into graphic design solutions for documents preferred creatively and efficiently.
9.Ability to analyze project demands, available resources and coordinate multiple projects through completion on schedule.
10.Work well in a team environment where timelines may fluctuate or may be accelerated.
11.Will need to pass Federal Canadian Security Clearance.
