Responsibilities
Oversee billing operations for the U.S. market (Private Wealth segment)
Lead and support a team of 3 senior billing professionals based in Montréal
Provide coaching, performance development, and team engagement
Establish and track KPIs to monitor accuracy, timeliness, and productivity
Ensure quality across all billing processes: validation, collections, month-end closure
Post journal entries and manage accounting tasks related to billing
Resolve complex billing scenarios: variable fees, calculation discrepancies, asset transactions
Work across multiple billing systems, including SAP
Actively participate in client collections
Collaborate closely with the Private Wealth client services team
Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement operational efficiencies
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in billing or accounting
Strong knowledge of operational accounting, collections, and month-end entries
Proven leadership in team supervision, coaching, and motivation
Comfortable in high-volume billing environments and working across multiple systems
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, complex formulas)
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong multi-tasking abilities
Full professional bilingualism (French and English – written and spoken)
