Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Ashland, as the Boiler Operator :
- Follow all safety rules and standard operational procedures
- Monitor and inspect equipment, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely
- Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts registering various aspects of boiler operation
- Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of the boiler/powerhouse
- Attend and participate in daily crew meetings

- Boiler license is ideal for position, or 3-5 years of related boiler experience
- Manufacturing experience and boiler operation experience and consistent work history preferred
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3-5 years related experience required
- Must show a commitment to an interdependent safety-first attitude
- Consistently display positive behavior that supports the organization’s goals and objectives
- Must be mechanically inclined and understand mechanical principles
- This job entails bending, walking, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and in a team empowerment culture
- Highly flexible with the ability to adjust to the demands of the job, produce high quality work, and can be dependent on to complete assigned tasks. Must be a self-starter
- Ability to communicate well with others and able to participate in team meetings
