Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the engine behind the company’s financial documentation, handling everything from daily entries to complex industry-specific billing.
- Manage van line invoicing, quarterly billing, and monthly government vehicle invoicing.
- Process government invoicing specifically for LTS, Air, and Sea shipments.
- Execute all aspects of A/R, A/P, General Ledger maintenance, and Journal entries.
- Manage both long-distance and local claims while performing revenue distribution tasks.
- Assist with general accounting functions and administrative financial tasks as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a QuickBooks expert who understands the nuances of the moving and storage industry.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar bookkeeping role.
- Previous experience working with a van line (required).
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
- High level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and impeccable attention to detail.
