        Are you a junior accounting professional with experience in the property accounting/administration industry? Do you have experience working with Yardi? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!We are currently looking for an a Property Accounting/Administration Analyst to support our client, a leading insurance and professional services organization, within their Downtown Ottawa office (working remotely until further notice). In this role you will work full time hours on an 6 month assignment. As a Property Accounting/Administration Analyst your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:• Liaise with Property Management/Administration team on various accounting transactions and lease administration activity. Must ensure that the required information is accurate and is correctly entered into the financial accounting system on a timely basis. Review, analyze and resolve any financial accounting issues that may arise in conjunction with Head Office accounting staff.• Create and monitor financial transactions that are processed through the properties, perform operating expense and variance analysis, projections, and compilation of comprehensive working papers for Property Director review.• Review and interpret tenant leases and assist in the preparation of packages for transmission to Head Office Operational Accounting. Could re-word a bit to reflect just having a knowledge of the leases in play; coincides with year-end and just day to day innerworkings with the Tenants.• With the cooperation and advice of the Property management team, undertake and complete the preparation of the property annual operating plan, quarterly and/or monthly forecasts and variance analysis for submission to Head Office. Review all quarterly and budget reports for accuracy, consistency and compliance.
