As a Brake Press Operator, you will join our dynamic manufacturing and logistics division, contributing directly to the structural integrity and heavy-duty assembly of premium mobile shredding trucks. Your expertise in managing a press brake machine or heavy shearing equipment ensures that raw materials are meticulously shaped to the highest standards. Responsibilities
• Operate a press brake machine and shearing machine according to work orders.
• Position, align, and secure raw iron or sheet metal workpieces against precise fixtures, stops, or dies using manual handling techniques and measuring devices.
• Measure completed metal components using micrometers, calipers, templates, and gauges to verify total conformance to strict engineering specifications.
• Examine all shaped workpieces for defects, marred surfaces, or chipped edges, ensuring a zero-defect output for the manufacturing and logistics production line.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Brake Press Operator, shearing machine operator, or sheet metal fabricator.
• Direct experience working with heavy metals, structural steel, or iron working is considered a major asset.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately read and execute production plans
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for being cross-trained in diverse operational and mechanical workflows.
