In this high-visibility role, you will serve as a senior technical liaison bridging business stakeholders, solution architects, development pods, and quality engineering teams. Operating in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment, you will translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications, backend API documentation, and actionable JIRA user stories. Spending approximately 4 hours per day in collaborative pod ceremonies, design sessions, and stakeholder huddles, you will guide solution development, support UAT and operational testing, and ensure system integrations align with enterprise architectural standards.
Duration: 12-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site at the corporate office, 3 days remote)

Responsibilities
Technical Requirements & User Stories: Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements, translating them into detailed backend API specifications, functional/non-functional user stories, and acceptance criteria in JIRA.
API & Backend Systems Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis of backend system components, data interfaces, data flows, and API endpoints, ensuring seamless upstream/downstream integrations.
Agile Pod Collaboration: Participate actively in SAFe/Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog refinement, story estimation, risk identification, and sprint reviews.
Testing & Quality Oversight: Partner with Quality Assurance teams to translate requirements and use cases into test conditions, expected results, and validation suites for UAT, performance, and operational acceptance testing.
Architecture & Governance Alignment: Ensure all requirement artifacts and technical designs comply with enterprise delivery practices, system architecture guidelines, and governance standards.
Qualifications
Senior BSA Experience: 10+ years of dedicated professional experience operating as a Business Systems Analyst within large-scale corporate technology environments.
API & Backend Systems Depth: Thorough technical understanding of backend systems, data integration flows, API documentation, and backend interfaces.
Agile Tooling & Delivery Mastery: Strong hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence within SAFe or Agile delivery frameworks.
Communication & Autonomy: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to drive deliverables independently.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Prior experience working within a major Banking or Financial Institution.
Formal Agile or Project Management certifications (e.g., CSPO, CSM, SAFe POPM, PMP).
Hands-on experience with Data Migration, System Integration, or enterprise portfolio management tools like Clarity.
