•Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business strategies
•Gather and translate business requirements into detailed documentation for development teams
•Analyze and optimize business processes, identifying areas for improvement and increased efficiency
•Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support business decisions
•Provide support for complex business processes and multiple concurrent projects
•Support initiatives related to business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience
•Engage with directors and senior leaders across business lines to deliver timely insights and updates
Qualifications
Must-Have:
•Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within financial services
•Strong understanding of Canadian banking products and regulatory frameworks
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Visio
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
•Experience working within a Big 5 bank is highly desirable

•Knowledge of or experience in:

•Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field
•Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PROSCI
