Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will be anything but routine. You’ll be responsible for:
-Executing the correct and timely processing of corporate action transactions and tax reporting.
-Acting as a primary point of contact and problem-solver for clients and business partners.
-Monitoring and reconciling coupon record changes and income received.
-Managing and resolving settlement discrepancies and other exceptions.
-Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver top-tier service.
-Assisting in the analysis, development, and implementation of process improvements.
-Contributing to projects by identifying and executing test cases to ensure objectives are met.
-Maintaining and updating written procedures for both new and existing processes.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
-2-3 years of experience in Capital Markets Operations.
-Sound knowledge of the Fixed Income market, including asset servicing, corporate actions, and coupon processing.
-Demonstrated ability to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
-Experience with settlements, clearing, and servicing.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
-A team-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-Haves:
-Proficiency in MS Excel with VBA knowledge.
-Hands-on experience with market data products like Bloomberg or Reuters.
-Experience with depositories such as DTC (US depository) and CDS (Canadian depository).
