You will be part of a collaborative team of analysts dedicated to supporting a regulatory project aimed at closing data retention and disposition gaps across Enterprise Compliance. This role requires partnering with various stakeholders to identify, inventory, and remediate data assets. Success is driven by the ability to manage project timelines, identify risks, and ensure that data is maintained and disposed of in strict compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Data Governance Support: Provide hands-on support for data management and governance activities, ensuring data maintenance aligns with enterprise standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Data Retention & Disposition (DRD): Lead and support DRD remediation activities, including assessing, documenting requirements, and assisting with the development of formal DRD procedures.
Data Analysis & Remediation: Perform data analysis and support the identification, inventory, and cataloguing of existing data assets. Execute the manual disposition and evidencing of data to ensure compliance.
Project Management & Risk: Utilize project experience to manage personal deliverables, adhere to timelines, and proactively identify, escalate, and support the documentation of project and data risks and issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build effective working relationships and manage numerous stakeholder relationships, collaborating with peers and partners on personal deliverables.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years of overall experience, preferably with a background focused on Business Analysis, Governance, or change management.
Governance Acumen: Direct experience with Governance concepts and frameworks.
Project Skills: Proven experience managing project deliverables from a timelines and risk identification standpoint.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Confluence for documentation and collaboration, and demonstrated skills in Data Analytics (Excel reporting).
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written), proven ability to work independently, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
Education: Undergraduate degree (UG) required.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior experience in the Financial Institution (FI) or banking sector.
Specific knowledge of Data Management controls, compliance, and regulatory rules concerning data.
