As part of a collaborative team of 15 professionals, you will partner with various stakeholders to identify and resolve data retention and disposition gaps. Your primary goal is to ensure that organizational data practices align with enterprise standards and complex regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2–4 years of experience who thrives in a data-centric, change-management environment.
Work Location: Hybrid model at Toronto (Starting with 2 days in office, potentially moving to 4 days in office).
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime as needed).
Pay Rate: $ 37.89
Duration: 12 Months (ASAP Start).

Responsibilities
Data Governance Support: Provide hands-on support for Data Retention and Disposition (DRD) remediation activities.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all data assets are maintained in accordance with enterprise policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Data Analysis & Documentation: Perform detailed analysis to assess and document DRD requirements; assist in developing formal Data Management procedures.
Asset Management: Support the identification, inventory, and cataloging of existing data assets across the enterprise.
Execution & Evidencing: Manually execute data disposition tasks and maintain meticulous evidence for audit purposes.
Risk Management: Identify, escalate, and document project-related data risks and issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and manage relationships with various business partners to ensure the successful delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications
Education: Undergraduate degree (UG) required.
Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience with a focus on Business Analysis, Governance, or Change Management.
Technical Skills (Must-Haves):
Proficiency in Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
Strong Excel skills for data analytics and manual reporting.
Previous experience in a Project environment (tracking timelines and identifying risks).
Soft Skills:
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Strong independent working habits and self-motivation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
Experience within a Financial Institution (FI) or Banking environment.
Knowledge of data controls, compliance, and data regulatory rules.
