Responsibilities
Confirm incoming precious metals trades and proactively communicate any discrepancies to the front and middle office in a timely manner.
Execute complex transactions and overrides accurately, in line with established procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Identify, document, and investigate exceptions and issues arising from trading processes, conducting root cause analysis to find systemic solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert on small-scale projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
Escalate processing and operational issues to appropriate partners, ensuring timely resolution and maintenance of service quality.
Analyze key process drivers and contribute to the production of consolidated or aggregated reports.
Maintain strong working relationships with internal partners and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
Support business objectives for operational excellence by identifying and suggesting improvements to standards, policies, and procedures.
Protect the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal frameworks (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering).
Contribute to change management projects and programs, ensuring clear communication and documentation of new processes.
Qualifications
Must have prior experience in the Banking/Financial Industry.
Demonstrated experience with the full Trade Lifecycle and Reconciliation.
2+ years of Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
2+ years of Python experience for automation and data manipulation.
Prior experience with Outlook is required.
Advanced knowledge of business analysis principles and methodologies.
Proven stakeholder/relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be a team player and adapt to high-volume periods.
