Our team is seeking a Business Analyst – Information and Data Management to support critical records lifecycle, governance, and data integration initiatives. In this role, you will analyze business processes, define records lifecycle management rules (retention, disposition, classification), and perform data mapping between Microsoft Dynamics and enterprise data sources to enable modern reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled information governance solutions.

Responsibilities
- Records Requirements & Lifecycle Governance: Assess and document records retention, disposition, classification, and governance requirements for assigned business functions to align with regulatory obligations and operational policies.
- Data Mapping & Integration: Perform data mapping, data analysis, and integration activities between Microsoft Dynamics and other enterprise data sources to support data modeling and reporting.
- AI & Solution Controls: Collaborate with development teams to implement, validate, and test lifecycle management controls, data quality rules, and AI governance into technical solutions. - Business Analysis & Requirements: Translate business processes into detailed requirements for implementing electronic records lifecycle rules and AI-enabled information management platforms.
- Operational Handover: Deliver training, knowledge transfer, and operational handover activities to business units to drive ongoing maintenance and adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Studies, Information Management, Records Management, Archival Studies, or a related information management discipline.
- Information & Records Management: years of recent work experience in information and records management, with a dedicated focus on electronic records management.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and enterprise Microsoft technologies to support data governance, information management, reporting, and analytics.
- Data Artifact Development: years of recent experience developing data maps, data dictionaries, metadata crosswalks, and semantic models.
- Core Business Analysis: years of recent experience conducting business analysis, documenting business requirements, and collaborating with dev teams to design, test, and deploy technology solutions.
- Proven ability to analyze business workflows and formulate requirements for records lifecycle management controls, classification schemes, and AI-enabled information management platforms.
- Based in Canada, legally authorized to work in Canada, and eligible to obtain Government of Canada Reliability Status.
