Responsibilities
-Conduct end-to-end audits in accordance with established audit plans, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.
-Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements to mitigate risk and improve operational effectiveness.
-Document audit findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders and audit leadership.
-Manage and track follow-ups on findings from internal and regulatory audits to ensure completion.
-Remain current on industry best practices, analytical tools, and regulatory changes.
-Promote a culture of integrity, due diligence, and confidentiality in all audit-related activities.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with stakeholders (approx. 40% stakeholder interaction).
Qualifications
Must Haves:
-8+ years of relevant audit or business analysis experience.
-Undergraduate degree in a related discipline.
-CPA designation or equivalent accounting certification.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
-Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
-Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence in matrixed environments.
Nice to Haves:
-Prior experience auditing capital markets operations.
-FRM or CFA designations.
-Previous experience working within banking environment is a strong asset.
