If so, our Ottawa-based public sector client has an 11-month contract opportunity, with an immediate start date, for you to consider. The successful candidate will provide business analysis services in the implementation of M365 and in the clean-up and migration of IM systems to address electronic and records management capabilities for the Government of Canada.

This is an exclusive contract opportunity with an immediate start date. The position is located in Ottawa but the work can be done entirely remotely.
Responsibilities
• Work with business, functional and technical leads within the client and attend regular projects meetings;
• Facilitate working sessions that include members of the technical and the business team to gather their business requirements for information and data migration;
• Facilitate working group sessions and conducting interviews with client business lines to gather their requirements for information and data clean-up and migration, and document the requirements for review by business, functional and technical leads.
• Communicate with organization business lines (clients) to clarify requirements where applicable.
• Perform analysis of on available sources relating to the organization business line's current information/data requirements in preparation for working group sessions.
• Document and/or provide input into information and data clean-up and migration Lessons Learned.
• Develop and/or assist in developing user acceptance test cases in relation to data and information cleanup, disposition and migration.
• Assist and participate in user acceptance testing of the previously developed solution for information clean-up, disposition and migration.
• Document issues identified in User Acceptance Testing about cleanup, disposition and migration.
• Provide options and/or recommendations to improve the process or procedures, or solution for data/information clean-up and migration.
• Validate developed solution for the data migration strategy as well as the cleanup strategy once the pilot phase is completed with clients and based on the requirements, and provide input to the technical authority on issues, risks, recommendations.
• Assist in the development of data cleanup and migration guides and presentation, based on the defined requirements and solution.
• Provide input on the overall Legacy systems Decommission Methodology, to improve the process or procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates must have 10 + years of experience as Business Analyst and current, valid, Secret security clearance
