Position Title: Business Analyst - Senior
Line of Business: Banking Product Project Delivery - supports all products related to personal banking, payment, insurance & deposits.
Target Start Date: Immediately
Contract Duration: 12 months
Extension/FTE: possible for extension and conversion
Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid- 2 days in office - Tues and Thurs

Responsibilities
·Requirements Gathering & Analysis
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
· Conduct workshops, interviews, and process analysis to gain a thorough understanding of business needs and objectives.
· Solution Assessment & Validation
· Analyze current state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value.
· Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate solutions against requirements.
· Document business validation test cases to ensure requirements are met and facilitate effective testing and quality assurance.
Stakeholder Management
· Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and project managers.
· Facilitate effective communication and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation & Communication
· Prepare clear and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, use cases, and user stories in accordance with organizational standards.
· Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.
Project Delivery Support
· Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and resource estimates.
· Support change management activities, including training, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
· Ensure compliance with project governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Must haves:
1. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or a related industry (Insurance).
2. Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
3. Proficiency in requirements management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to have:
· Familiarity with project governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks is an asset.
· CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar certification is considered an advantage.
· Previous banking experience
Soft Skills:
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
