Responsibilities
- FP&A & Performance: Management of the budgeting cycle, financial forecasting, and in-depth analysis of variances and KPIs.
- Profitability & Costs: Performance optimization through sensitivity analysis and rigorous cost classification management.
- Strategic Support: Creation of business cases, evaluation of investment ROI, and support for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or negotiations.
- Accounting Integrity: Responsible for closing entries, financial statements, and complex system reconciliations.
- Executive Reporting: Design of operational and financial management reports providing clear insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Education & Designation: University degree in Accounting or Finance. Enrolled in the CPA program or holding the CPA designation.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a major asset.
- Bilingualism: Perfect bilingualism (French and English, oral and written) is required to support stakeholders across different regions.
"As the company conducts a significant portion of its business outside of Quebec, the incumbent will be required to communicate regularly with English-speaking stakeholders. Consequently, proficiency in English (both oral and written) is an essential requirement."
