As a principal business analyst, you will bridge the gap between complex infrastructure operations, mature asset management frameworks, and modern technology platforms. Operating within a hybrid work model, you will lead asset management maturity assessments using recognized standards (ISO 55000), conduct global market and jurisdictional scans, construct detailed business requirements, and formulate strategic implementation roadmaps. This position is tailored for a senior analytical authority who can evaluate enterprise platforms (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Oracle, Infor EAM, Cityworks), lead cross-functional workshops, and deliver defensible recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Assess current asset management practices, processes, data structures, governance models, and supporting IT systems.
Conduct asset management maturity assessments aligned with ISO 55000 or equivalent recognized industry frameworks.
Identify operational gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and standardization opportunities to formulate targeted improvement strategies.
Define future-state asset management capabilities, process frameworks, governance structures, roles, and operating models.
Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and document enterprise-wide business, functional, integration, reporting, mobility, security, and non-functional requirements for EAM solutions.
Conduct market and jurisdictional scans to research viable EAM platforms, vendor capabilities, and implementation lessons learned from comparable organizations.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks to assess solutions against business fit, configurability, scalability, total cost of ownership, and integration needs.
Formulate defensible solution recommendations and build comprehensive implementation roadmaps outlining phases, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and validation sessions with operational, technical, and executive leads to build consensus.
Author executive-ready deliverables, including maturity reports, capability models, requirements traceabilities, evaluation matrices, and strategy reports.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & Asset Management Tenure
Senior BA Tenure: Minimum 7 years of progressive Business Analysis experience, with substantial focus on enterprise asset management (EAM) transformations, infrastructure management, or software implementations.
Education: Degree in Asset Management, Business Analysis, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Framework Depth (ISO 55000): Demonstrated expertise in mature asset management practices across the full asset lifecycle and experience conducting maturity assessments aligned with ISO 55000 frameworks.
EAM Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with core EAM platforms (such as IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Oracle, Infor EAM, Cityworks, or equivalent) and their integration points with GIS, financial, procurement, and mobile systems.
Market Scan & Solution Evaluation: Proven experience conducting market/jurisdictional scans, constructing objective scoring frameworks, and recommending best-fit EAM software.
Infrastructure & Public Sector Context: Experience delivering asset management assignments within large, infrastructure-intensive or public-sector organizations.
Soft Skills & Delivery Capabilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Workshop Facilitation: Superior workshop facilitation, interviewing, and consultative skills to engage operational teams and advise senior management.
