Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Providing our internal/external clients with enhanced customer care from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, this includes responding to issues, concerns, providing information etc
● Provide reception coverage answering phones, greeting external clients and providing support to our internal stakeholders
● Check our business centre databases for requests and provide support for inbound and outbound mail, scanning and printing services
● Assist in meeting room set-ups including moving tables, providing microphones and setting up catering as per staff requests.
● Monitoring our space to ensure staff have an organized, clean and functional workplace.
● Issue and maintain inventory of daily visitor pass-cards and updating the database if necessary
● Provide a WOW customer service experience to our internal stakeholders
● Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds a must
● Be a member of the local Health and Safety committee and assist in record keeping, floor inspections and other H&S tasks.
● Occasional need to be flexible with hours to support the needs of our department
● Assists with other functions of the Office Services team as needed
Qualifications
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
● Relevant in office experience opening and closing an office with the ability to complete tasks with limited supervision
● High degree of computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet search tools and other job-related databases
● Excellent oral and written communication skills (including strong spelling, drafting, editing, proofreading, punctuation and grammar skills)
● Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
● Exercises discretion when dealing with confidential data
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
