Responsibilities
●Lead the design and planning of comprehensive scenario exercises.
●Coordinate and facilitate testing exercises with various internal teams and stakeholders to assess critical operational processes.
●Conduct post-exercise debriefs and analyze results to identify vulnerabilities and gaps.
●Synthesize complex technical and operational information into clear, concise reports and presentations for executive audiences.
●Develop and track actionable recommendations and remediation plans based on exercise findings.
●Ensure all activities and documentation align with OSFI E-21 regulatory requirements.
●Utilize advanced PowerPoint skills to create professional and easy-to-understand layouts for presentations.
●Employ intermediate Excel skills for data tracking, analysis, and reporting on project progress.
Qualifications
●Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar field, either at a consulting firm or in a risk-focused role. 7+ years is preferred.
●Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize detailed information into concise reports.
●Excellent plain language writing and design skills; capable of converting technical concepts into basic, understandable language.
●Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and intermediate proficiency in Excel (including basic formulas and VLOOKUP).
●Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to effectively engage with and present to senior stakeholders.
●Prior experience in financial institutions (Capital Markets, Retail, Wealth & Investment), particularly with a Big 5 Canadian bank, is a strong asset.
●Knowledge of Business Continuity Management or Operational Resilience is a plus.
●Relevant certifications such as CBCP, ABCP, or AMBCI are considered an asset.
