Our utility client is looking for a Business Decision Support Professional for a 12 month contract in Vancouver. This is onsite role
Pay rate: $65.00 / Hour

Responsibilities
As a Business Decision Support Professional, your duties will be:
•Translating business insights into strategic, actionable options by obtaining and organizing key business information, enabling informed decision-making.
•Facilitating decision-making across diverse groups of stakeholders by using excellent skills in communication, critical thinking, and persuasive influencing to deliver recommendations that align to the business goals.
•Maintaining meaningful business relationships by prioritizing strategic considerations in a complex environment with diverse groups of stakeholders so that projects are implemented as planned.
•Planing and organizing business initiatives by using expert knowledge in business drivers, risk tolerance, and trade-off processes, to enable successful integration and adoption in company's complex and regulated environment.
•Monitoring program results to ensure performance targets are achieved and/or initiate alternate strategies to continuously improve the offerings for customers
•Leading continuous improvement program optimization initiatives with an ability to plan and executive measurable and achievable actions to meet Electrification Plan priorities
•Managing RFPs for consulting services that support LCE program offers, and lead discussions with external consultants to develop study and project scopes for customers
•Being responsible for program and product reviews, variance analysis, forecasting, and targets
•Running regular and ad hoc project update meetings and design workshops to ensure regular communication amongst program stakeholders
•Staying abreast of industry trends, investigate and analyze product and market trends and issues to develop new or revised products to meet electrification and financial objectives
•Monitoring program results to ensure performance targets are achieved and/or initiate alternate strategies to continuously improve the offerings for customers
•Leading continuous improvement program optimization initiatives with an ability to plan and executive measurable and achievable actions to meet Electrification Plan priorities
Qualifications
•A minimum eleven (11) years of directly related work experience or equivalent.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
•Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
•Familiarity with CRM (Customer relationship management) systems or tools is desirable.
