Business Development Representative - Electrical Distribution Sector
A leading Canadian business-to-business electrical distribution company, and the second largest worldwide, is launching an exciting new initiative. They're becoming the first and only distributor in Canada to sell a cutting-edge MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software. This is a pilot project, and they're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to ensure the initial success of this new department.

Base Salary: $90,000
Comprehensive Benefits:

Work Arrangement: Possibility of remote work 2 days per week; otherwise, on-site employment at the Laval branch.

Responsibilities
This role is 100% focused on lead generation, concentrating on qualifying leads through discovery calls and then handing them off to dedicated account managers/product specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification: Proactively identify and qualify leads for the software via discovery calls.
Target Clients: Production facilities, manufacturing plants, medium to large warehouses (or smaller ones with multiple locations), and any company requiring software for operational excellence.
Activity-Based KPIs: Goals will be set with the manager based on CRM activity (calls, etc.).
Qualifications

SaaS Sales Experience: Essential, with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

Maturity and strong listening skills.
Cerebral and even-keeled.
