Responsibilities
- Facilitate the review, implementation, delivery, and validation of comprehensive data requirements across business initiatives.
- Leverage SQL and Python within Databricks to profile, reconcile, validate, and investigate complex data issues and lineage.
- Lead test planning, test-case design, execution coordination, defect triage, and regression testing for enterprise datasets.
- Perform root-cause investigations on data quality defects and partner directly with technology teams to drive resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable data solutions.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for complex data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, and validation.
- 5+ years of deep domain knowledge in banking and Treasury products (e.g., Treasury investment, hedging portfolios, or wholesale/retail banking use cases).
- 5+ years of experience delivering large-scale financial data initiatives and translating business needs into data solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in structured project testing discipline, including test execution and defect triage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a quantitative field (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Haves:
- Broad Treasury background with exposure to liquidity and capital product domains.
- Professional designations such as CFA, CPA, or FRM.
- Hands-on experience navigating cloud data platforms such as Databricks.
