Responsibilities
As a BIM Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated project pod responsible for delivering key outputs related to risk and compliance reporting. You will:
Conduct Materiality Assessments in collaboration with report/output owners
Perform Data Supply Chain Analysis to trace key data elements from source to report
Document technical and business metadata
Analyze and evaluate compliance with new enterprise data management standards
Liaise with cross-functional teams including risk analysts, IT, data governance, and compliance
Escalate risks and issues promptly to ensure timely delivery
Participate in Agile and/or Waterfall project planning and delivery cycles
Qualifications
Must Have:
8+ years of relevant experience in a large financial services organization
Strong knowledge of financial risk domains (e.g., Credit Risk, Market Risk, Retail Risk)
Proficiency in data lineage analysis and documentation
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, Visio)
Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data control testing
Experience using Alteryx or similar end-user data tools
Background in regulatory compliance (Canada/US)
