A fast-growing company in the medical device industry is seeking a Production Planner & Buyer for its modernized facility in Pointe-Claire. Responsibilities
As a Production Planner & Buyer, you will orchestrate the production schedule and ensure raw material availability for 4 to 5 automated assembly lines. The position is based entirely on-site at the Pointe-Claire manufacturing plant with a flexible 40-hour weekly schedule.
Responsibilities
•Scheduling (60%): Establish the production scheduling calendar over a 3-month horizon and issue daily work orders.
•Procurement (40%): Order and track raw materials, packaging components, and bulk solutions to prevent any inventory stockouts.
•Inventory Management: Ensure the accuracy of regular physical counts and optimize inventory parameters within the system.
•Internal Collaboration: Act as the central pivot between production (capacity management) and the Quality department (lot release prioritization).
•Continuous Improvement: Participate in configuring and optimizing the newly implemented ERP system.

•Experience: 3 to 5 years of combined experience in manufacturing production planning and industrial purchasing.
•Systems: Excellent proficiency in Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables) and experience using an integrated ERP system (such as SAGE or SAP).
•Education: Bachelor's degree required (APICS certification or experience in a regulated sector like medical, pharma, or food is a strong asset).
•Profile: Positive attitude, proactive mindset, strong team player, and highly adaptable to shifting priorities.
