Responsibilities

Manage the complete purchasing order cycle for a variety of critical components: conveyor systems, machined parts, electronic components, motors, hardware (nuts/bolts), and warehousing materials (PPE, office supplies).
Negotiate delivery dates, resolve supply issues, and ensure adherence to deadlines by suppliers (majority in Canada/Quebec, as well as internationally).
Actively participate in the search and qualification of new suppliers to optimize the supply chain.
Collaborate in establishing an inventory management structure (Min/Max) to transform and optimize the logistics chain model.
Coordinate purchasing, stock management, inventory, transportation, and logistics activities at the macro level (including production planning).
Use and optimize the ERP (EFS Cloud) and tools like Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for supply data analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing.
Bilingualism (French and English), both written and oral, for communications with internal and external (international) suppliers.
Intermediate level proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data extraction).
