Responsibilities
Develop the purchasing plan and acquisition cycle, taking into account sales strategies, annual manufacturer quotas, procurement lead times, and product seasonality.
Leverage management tools and purchasing methodologies to reduce stock-outs, optimize inventory turnover based on targets set by product family, and take advantage of special pricing offers from suppliers.
Optimize product profitability and minimize expenses related to the purchasing process.
Participate in discussions with manufacturers, collect relevant product information, and thereby ensure commercial agreements regarding purchase and sale prices are kept up to date.
Generate and send purchase orders to the relevant suppliers.
Communicate product warranty details to the sales force.
Follow up on outstanding orders and deliveries with manufacturers and intervene to resolve any anomalies or irregularities.
Qualifications
Education: College
Diploma: AEC (Attestation of College Studies)
Status: Completed
Years of experience in purchasing: 3-5 years
Written French: Intermediate
Spoken French: Advanced
Written English: Intermediate
Spoken English: Advanced
