What You?ll Do
Under the guidance of the Wiring Team Lead and reporting to the Production Manager, the Electrical Assembler is responsible for wiring of all electrical switchgear and assemblies as well as installation and wiring of all electrical controls. The assembler will interpret manufacturing information documents in order to ensure compliance to Quality standards, and make the necessary adjustments in order to meet those standards.

Responsibilities
n This Function, You Will
-Review and interpret drawings.
-Wire complex assemblies using drawings, schematics and process plans.
-Use various fixtures, gauges, and wiring tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
-Install components and modify as necessary.
-Perform in-process inspections, as required, to ensure compliance to Quality standards and make necessary adjustments in order to meet quality standards.
-Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the internal materials replenishment system.
-Actively support EPC Safety, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
-Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner, including the return of tools to designated areas.
-Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limiting to assisting mechanical team and FAB when necessary.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
-Ability to lift heavy materials.
-Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
-Completion of High School or GED equivalent is required at a minimum.
-Diploma in electrical engineering considered an asset.
-Prior experience in testing electrical control assemblies considered an asset. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Preferred Skills
-1 year of experience in the assembly or repair of product in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
-Forklift/overhead crane certification considered an asset.
