Responsibilities
•Serve as the lead Project Manager for a complex capital management and business expansion project, requiring deep understanding of Treasury projects and functions.
•Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed project schedules and financial plans, including rigorous forecasting and tracking.
•Proactively manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary.
•Monitor, track, and report on project progress, ensuring delivery stays on budget and on schedule.
•Prepare and deliver very strong executive-level communications, including writing clear, concise reports and presentations (slide decks via PowerPoint) to senior stakeholders.
•Manage conflicting priorities and team dynamics, employing strong conflict management skills to keep the project moving forward effectively.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
•8+ years of overall experience, with a significant portion dedicated to Project Management (including scheduling, financial planning, and forecasting).
•Strong business and functional understanding of the Treasury and Capital Markets domain.
•Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel for financial analysis and PowerPoint for executive reporting).
•Post-secondary education.
Preferred & Nice-to-Haves
•PMP Certification is considered a strong asset.
•Experience or familiarity with project management tools such as Clarity, Jira, and Confluence.
