Responsibilities
•Lead and assist in developing and executing testing programs to assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
•Apply advanced sampling methodologies in line with established guidelines.
•Conduct ongoing testing of key controls across all TDS businesses, meticulously analyzing and reporting on exceptions, and tracking them to full resolution.
•Assess Key Risk Indicators to identify opportunities for program enhancement and continuous improvement.
•Partner with business units to develop and implement robust action and remediation plans for identified control gaps and root causes.
•Proactively identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, improve testing efficiency, and enhance the overall experience for business stakeholders.
•Collaborate with business stakeholders and second-line functions to develop new controls or improve existing ones, addressing documentation and process gaps to mitigate risk.
•Contribute to ad-hoc risk and control-related initiatives and strategies.
•Foster a positive team environment by communicating effectively, regularly sharing insights, and promoting a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
•University education is required.
•Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in Risk, Audit, or Compliance.
•Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures, strategies, and tactics.
•Previous audit or quality control testing experience, or familiarity with established testing methodologies, is a significant asset.
•Proficiency in using computer applications, including MS Excel (formulas), PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Proven ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
•Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
•Discretion in handling confidential information.
•Knowledge of current and emerging industry trends.
•Understanding of business operations and processes is a plus.
