Our company is looking for an intermediate Bridge Inspection Engineer to strengthen its team dedicated to bridges and civil structures. Your main mission will be to execute inspection projects from start to finish, from planning to report production. You will actively participate in large-scale mandates located mainly in Greater Montreal, working for major clients such as the MTMD (Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility), Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Inc. Responsibilities
As a bridge inspection engineer, your daily tasks will include:
Participating in project management, planning, and coordinating inspections with all stakeholders.
Performing general, detailed inspections and damage surveys on bridges and other structures.
Drafting inspection reports, technical expertise reports, and other specialized studies.
Qualifications
This role is for you if you possess:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Relevant experience of at least 3 years in bridge inspection.
Experience in consulting engineering.
Knowledge of MTMD standards and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, including Excel.
Comfort with working at heights and in confined spaces.
Valid driver's license and ASP Construction safety course.
MTMD structure inspection training (an asset).
Leadership, dynamism, meticulousness, and professionalism.
