Your daily responsibilities
The daily life of the civil project manager revolves around the rigorous management of operations and finances:
Establish detailed budgets while respecting city regulatory frameworks.
Orchestrate logistics and schedules with the superintendent via ms project.
Negotiate agreements with subcontractors to maximize profitability.
Prepare all technical documentation required for site launches.
Conduct regular field follow-ups to validate work progress.
Estimate and negotiate extra work during the mandate.
Produce productivity reports and analyze unit prices.
Manage material orders and progressive billing for projects.
Ensure fluid communication between the head office and construction sites.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil works management with a general contractor.
Demonstrated expertise in managing public projects (sewers, water mains, earthworks).
Mastery of industry technological tools such as ms project, tpl, seao, and autocad.
Strong organizational skills to successfully carry out high-value projects.
Natural ability for negotiation and managing relationships with partners.
Rigorous commitment to health and safety standards on job sites.
