Class 1 Driver Oilfield & Pipe Haul Expert
Location: Nisku, AB
Rate: $35.00 – $37.00/hr (OT Eligible)
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
The Reality of the Role
This isn't a highway run; it's a "patch" grind. We need a Class 1 Powerhouse who respects the rig’s schedule. We specialize in hauling pipe and heavy iron to remote lease sites. If you’ve mastered off-road navigation and throwing iron in the mud at 2:00 AM, you belong behind our wheel.
...
Advantages
Direct Hire: No "probationary" games here. Top performers are hired as permanent staff on day one.
Total Rewards: Full health benefits + 2 weeks vacation (eligible after only 4 months on the team).
The Long Game: 3% RRSP matching after 1 year to help you build a real future and retirement.
Consistency: We keep our elite drivers busy. If you want the big hours, we have the steady work.
Responsibilities
Pipe & Rigging: You aren't just steering; you expertly secure, transport, and offload oilfield iron.
Lease Road Mastery: Navigate tight, unpredictable bush roads in blizzards or deep spring mud.
Chaining Up: You don't wait for a tow. Chaining up is a frequent reality and second nature to you.
On-Call Mentality: When the rig is down, we move. This requires weekend and after-hours flexibility.
Qualifications
Experience: A proven track record in Oil Sands hauling and Rigging is strictly non-negotiable.
Credentials: Valid Class 1 License with a clean commercial abstract is required for insurance.
Safety First: Current TDG and relevant safety tickets are essential for site access and loading.
Physicality: "Patch-fit"—capable of handling heavy chains and rigging in harsh Alberta elements.
Mindset: Professional and reliable. We have a "no-whiners" policy; we need veteran problem solvers.
Summary
If you’re ready to tackle the oil patch with a team that respects your skill, let’s talk.
