Class 1 Elite: The Heavy Iron Specialist
Location: Nisku, AB Pay: $35.00 – $37.00/hr + Overtime
Status: Full-Time, Permanent (Day 1)
The Mission
...
Most drivers want a paved highway and a cruise control button. This isn't that job. We are looking for the "1%ers" of the trucking world—Class 1 Powerhouses who thrive when the pavement ends. We specialize in hauling pipe and heavy iron to remote lease sites where the weather is unpredictable and the roads are worse. If you’ve mastered the art of throwing iron in the mud at 2:00 AM while the rig waits on you, we want you on our team.
Advantages
We know the "patch" can be a grind, so we treat our elite drivers like the assets they are:
Permanent From Day One: No "probationary" hoops. If you’re good enough to join us, you’re part of the family immediately.
The "Big Hours" Guarantee: We have the contracts to keep you busy. If you want the overtime, the work is here.
Accelerated Benefits: Full health coverage and 2 weeks’ vacation—eligible after just 4 months.
Wealth Building: 3% RRSP matching after 1 year. We don’t just want you working for today; we want to help you build a retirement.
Modern Iron: Well-maintained equipment because we know you can’t do a pro job with amateur gear.
Responsibilities
Pipe & Rigging: You aren't just steering; you expertly secure, transport, and offload oilfield iron.
Lease Road Mastery: Navigate tight, unpredictable bush roads in blizzards or deep spring mud.
Chaining Up: You don't wait for a tow. Chaining up is a frequent reality and second nature to you.
On-Call Mentality: When the rig is down, we move. This requires weekend and after-hours flexibility.
Qualifications
The Resume: Non-negotiable experience in Oil Sands hauling and Rigging.
The Credentials: Valid Class 1 License with a clean commercial abstract.
The Tickets: Current TDG and relevant safety tickets are mandatory for site access.
The Grit: You must be physically capable of handling heavy chains and rigging in harsh Alberta elements.
The Mindset: We operate on a "No-Whiners" policy. We need veteran problem-solvers who show up, get it done, and get home safe.
Summary
If you’re tired of being treated like a number and want a team that respects your skill, let’s talk.
