Responsibilities
Precision Machining: Set up and operate CNC machines utilizing Fanuc controls to produce high-tolerance components.
Versatility: Seamlessly transition bWe aren't looking for button-pushers. We need a Technical Lead who can handle complex setups on large-scale components.
Control Mastery: Expert-level operation of Fanuc (G-Code) and/or Mazatrol.
Heavy Duty: Setup and operation of large CNC Lathes (Flatbed experience is a massive plus).
The Hybrid Edge: Ability to step over to a Manual Lathe or Boring Mill when a custom repair or one-off part hits the floor.
Precision: Holding tight tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.etween CNC operations and Manual Lathe/Boring work as production needs dictate.
Quality Assurance: Take full ownership of part quality, performing self-inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure every piece meets exacting specifications.
Workflow Management: Manage tool offsets, monitor tool wear, and perform necessary adjustments to maintain peak efficiency.
Safety Leadership: Maintain a pristine workspace and strictly adhere to all industrial safety standards.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years in CNC Machining (Oil & Gas or Heavy Industrial background preferred).
Tooling Expert: You know how to monitor tool wear, manage offsets, and troubleshoot programs on the fly.
Reliability: You take pride in a 100% attendance record and a "safety-first" mindset.
Local: Ready to work in Edmonton/Nisku area.
