Position: Machine Operator (CNC Router)
Location: Paris, ON (Not on a bus route – reliable personal transportation required)
Pay Rate: $24.00 / hour (Based on experience) Paid weekly
Shift: Continental Day Shift (Straight Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent (Leads directly to permanent placement after completing required hours)
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
-Receive work orders and select pre-programmed files using basic computer interfaces.
-Set up sheets and operate CNC router machines cutting foam, acrylics, and PVC materials.
-Use a pump cart to locate and transport material sheets from the warehouse area to your workstation.
-Load raw materials onto the machine bed (materials are light; minimal heavy lifting required) and unload finished products.
-Perform routine machine setups and maintain a clean, organized work area during downtime.
-Move throughout the facility comfortably (role involves significant walking).
Qualifications
-Experience: At least 6 months of machine operation experience working with cutting, vinyl, or acrylics.
-CNC Lathe or CNC Mill experience is a huge plus! Print manufacturing background is an asset.
-Technical Skills: Basic computer skills to select pre-programmed work files.
-Attitude: A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and reliable attendance.
-Physical Requirements: Ability to be on your feet walking/standing throughout the 12-hour shift and comfortably load lightweight materials. Must have your own CSA-approved safety shoes/boots.
-Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation (facility is not accessible by public transit).
-Compliance: Clear criminal background check required
