Salary $29-30 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities in Ville Saint-Laurent of the CNC machinist position:
-Setting up on milling machines, grinding machines, lathes and cylindrical grinding machines
-Program machines using the Mastercam program
-Read and understand complex blueprints and technical drawings to carry out precision machining tasks.
- Modify and repair broken mechanical parts
- Checks and ensures the quality of moulds, cavities, punches, dies and machined parts before delivery.
-Checks and complies with tight tolerances during machining.
Qualifications
Profile of the ideal CNC machinist, working in Ville Saint-Laurent in a company specialising in plastic packaging:
-Diploma in machining (DEP)
-ASP in machine tool programming (asset)
-Experience in CNC programming (a considerable asset)
-Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in the aeronautics or aerospace sector
- Good physical condition
- Able to handle heavy objects and difficult standing positions
