Responsibilities
- As a CNC Programmer/Machinist: Generate CNC programs using Mastercam and G-Code for Fanuc and Hurco controls.
- As a CNC Programmer/Machinist: Set up and operate CNC Mills and CNC lathes to hit tolerances ranging from +/- .002 to .0005 inches.
- As a manual machinist: Set up and operate manual mills and manual lathes.
- As either a manual or CNC Machinist: Machine components from blueprints and de-bur parts to ensure start-to-finish production with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Possess a Red Seal Certification or equivalent experience to manage the machining process from start-to-finish without guidance.
- 5 years of experience in a custom machining environment with a combination of manual and CNC experience and high technical proficiency in either.
- 5 years of experience programming toolpaths in mastercam is required for the CNC Programmer/Machinist position
- Provide and maintain a personal toolbox equipped with micrometers and a standard set of trade tools.
- Proven ability to interpret technical blueprints and utilize precision measuring instruments in the manufacturing industry.
